FOUNDER’S BIOGRAPHY

Having abortion in her past and understanding the power of God’s redemptive work, Kathy Wilson founded the ministry ARISE Post-Abortion Care. Following a 17-year directorship in her local pregnancy center, Kathy felt called to provide specialized attention to the post-abortive individuals of her community. Kathy offers her expertise by giving individual or group care to women. Her husband, Bob, makes himself available to men who struggle with being participants in a past abortion decision. In addition, Kathy trains volunteers to lead support groups through the Biblically-based curriculums this ministry offers. Kathy’s greatest desire is to be a vessel of healing and hope found in Jesus Christ. Experience has taught that His intervention is essential, anything else is inferior, and leads to immeasurable hopelessness.
