Message of Hope

Regardless of the time frame given to your post-abortion struggle (a short while or many decades), it is common for a Christ-follower to live in the shadow of this past sin. In spite of God’s unconditional love and forgiveness, the temptation is to cling to a lifetime of self-inflicted punishment, guilt, and shame. If you are a Believer who recognizes these symptoms in your own life, please consider the following questions:

Water

1. Have you grown weary of weighty emotions which hold you captive?
2. Do the emotions you bear affect others?
3. Are you living a defeated Christian life?
4. If so, what does that look like?

(feelings of hypocrisy, lack of healthy boundaries in an attempt to compensate, uncomfortable in faith-based settings, etc.)
5. How does self-condemnation bring glory to God?

In truth, our atonement took a divine sacrifice which God lavishly provided in the death and resurrection of His son, Jesus Christ. His intent is for you to live in daily freedom, understanding that you have been justified (made worthy) to
walk in a close and magnificent relationship with Him. To embrace this truth will bring inconceivable hope and forever change your life!
